Assistant Water Management for Oil Palm Plantation

PT. PINANG WITMAS ABADI is seeking a dedicated Assistant Water Management for Oil Palm Plantation to join our team in Kubu Raya, Kalimantan Barat. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing water resources to support our sustainable oil palm plantations and ensure the long-term viability of our operations.

As an Assistant Water Management, you will work closely with our team to implement and monitor water management strategies, ensuring optimal water use efficiency and conservation. 📋 Tanggung Jawab Pekerjaan

• Develop and implement water management plans for oil palm plantations, including irrigation systems and water conservation techniques.
• Monitor water usage and quality, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and best practices.
• Conduct regular assessments of water resources, including rainfall, river levels, and groundwater.
• Coordinate with farmers and field teams to ensure effective water management practices are followed.
• Train and mentor farmers on water conservation and efficient irrigation techniques.
• Collaborate with the Water Management Team to analyze data and make informed decisions.
• Participate in regular meetings and workshops to discuss water management strategies and best practices.
• Ensure all water management activities are documented and reported accurately.

🎓 Kualifikasi & Syarat

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in water management for agricultural or plantation settings.
• Strong understanding of water conservation techniques and sustainable agriculture practices.
• Proficiency in using water management software such as AquaCrop or similar tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
• Ability to travel to remote plantation sites as required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Fluency in Indonesian and English is a plus.
